The 2016 REACH Congress attracted over 120 participants. Providing a platform for participants to share experiences and discuss the varied range of topics presented, the congress received positive feedback in its 3rd year in Düsseldorf.
Two discussions were held on the Monday evening on substance identity (facilitators Stuart Niven, Envigo and David Norris, David Norris Analytical Laboratories) and the implications of a ‘hard’ Brexit on the UK chemicals sector (facilitated by Dentons LLP). These sessions were well attended and followed by a drinks reception, which enabled further discussion among participants.
The main suite of presentations fell into discrete and sequential sessions of REACH today, international perspectives, case studies from industry and technical highlights. The presenters received particular praise for both their delivery and availability to all participants during networking breaks; an important feature of TSGE Forum events. Immediately after lunch on both days, a discussion forum was held to engage delegates and ward off postprandial inertia.
In 2017, we return to the InterContinental with a fresh theme and programme of discussions and presentations, moving away from registration-based topics to the future challenges such as voluntary versus regulatory management of hazardous chemicals at manufacturing/formulating sites.
We hope you and your colleagues can join us for yet another lively and relevant event on 21-22 November 2017.
Further information on the Congress will be available shortly.
